The Fryderyk Chopin Biographical Museum is located in the Castle.
The collection includes 7,000 objects, including manuscripts, letters, and personal memorabilia, as well as photographs, paintings, drawings, and the world's largest manuscript collection. The permanent collection consists of 11 thematic islands concerning different periods of Chopin's life. To mark the bicentennial of the composer's birth, a new multimedia exhibit has opened at the Museum.
