TERMS AND CONDITIONS TEATRO HOTEL

We look forward to hosting you. Keeping the following rules in mind will allow us to provide you with a peaceful and safe stay.

  1. The Hotel Terms and Conditions shall be effective as of September 20, 2020 for an indefinite period of time.
  2. Beginning of the stay at the hotel is tantamount to accepting the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
  3. The Guest renting a room in the hotel is obliged to present a valid document with a photograph confirming his or her identity to the employee at the Reception desk. In case of refusal to show a document in a way allowing to establish identity, the Reception staff is entitled to refuse to issue a key to the room and to conclude a hotel contract.
  4. Payment for the night must be made at the Reception during check-in. In case of refusal to pay, the Reception employee has the right to refuse to check the Guest in.
  5. The receptionist has the right to refuse to register a Guest without giving any reason for the refusal.
  6. The Guest will personally write their name and signature on the registration card.
  7. At the request of the Guest, the receptionist is obliged to enter the remaining registration data from the identity document by himself. The receptionist is not allowed to hold a Guest's ID - it is given back immediately after the registration card is filled in.
  8. The room in the hotel is rented for the day. Check-in time is from 14:00 on the day of rental to 12:00 the next day.
  9. If the Guest does not specify the time of his/her stay, it is assumed that the room was rented for one day.
  10. If the Guest wishes to extend the stay beyond the period indicated on the day of arrival, he or she should report it at the reception desk by 9:00 a.m. on the day the room lease expires. The hotel will accommodate requests to extend your stay based on the availability of the rooms.
  11. Leaving belongings or staying in the room after 12:00 on the day of departure without informing the reception is considered an automatic extension of the stay. The Hotel may charge for the next day's room rental according to the prices valid on that day.
  12. A guest renting a room cannot transfer the room to other people, even if the day for which he/she paid has not passed.
  13. The hotel maintains curfew from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am the next day. During the hours of curfew, Guests and persons using the services of the hotel are obliged to behave in such a way as not to disturb the peace of others.
  14. Non-registered persons may stay in the hotel room from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm. The presence of unregistered persons in the Guest's room after 10 p.m. is tantamount to consent of the Guest to pay for the additional accommodation of such persons in the room. Visitors stay in the rooms at the sole responsibility of the Guest.
  15. Hotel room service is provided daily from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. The guest has the right to refuse access to the room to the cleaning service and ask for another time, but no later than 2:00 pm.
  16. Teatro Hotel is a hotel for adults. Children who are on the hotel premises, such as in the restaurant, must be supervised by adult chaperones. Children's legal guardians are responsible for children's behavior, including damage and/or injury done.
  17. On the hotel premises, including the hotel rooms and balconies, in accordance with the Act of April 8, 2010 amending the Act on Health Protection against the Consequences of Tobacco and Tobacco Products Use and the Act on the State Sanitary Inspection (Journal of Laws No. 81, item. 529) -- smoking of cigarettes and tobacco products is strictly prohibited. Smoking is permitted at the rear entrance of the hotel. Violation of the ban on smoking cigarettes and tobacco products in the hotel room is tantamount to the Guest agreeing to cover the cost of deodorization of the room in the amount of 1000 PLN.
  18. The Guest bears full financial and legal responsibility for any damage or destruction of the hotel equipment and facilities caused by him or his visitors.
  19. For reasons of fire safety, it is prohibited to use heaters and other electrical devices in rooms and other hotel facilities that are not part of the equipment of these rooms. The above does not apply to chargers and power suppliers for consumer electronics and computer equipment. It is also forbidden to use open fire in any form in the hotel rooms and other premises.
  20. When leaving the room the Guest should always make sure that the doors are properly closed, including balcony doors and windows.
  21. The liability of the hotel for loss of or damage to items brought by the Guest to the hotel is governed by the provisions of Art. 846--849 of the Civil Code. The hotel's liability is limited if these items are not deposited at the Reception. The Hotel has the right to refuse to accept for safekeeping money, securities and valuable objects, especially valuables and objects of scientific or artistic value, if they threaten security, or have too high a value in relation to the size or standard of the hotel, or take up too much space. The hotel is not responsible for items stored in the room safe.
  22. Guests should immediately notify Reception of damage, loss, or destruction of belongings upon discovery.
  23. Luggage is stored in the room or in a place designated by the hotel for this purpose.
  24. Personal belongings left in the room by the departing Guest will be sent back at his expense to the address indicated by him. If no such instruction is received, the hotel will store the items for 3 months and then donate them to charity or dispose of them. The hotel does not store food or perishable items.  
  25. In the event of a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the hotel may refuse to continue to provide service to the offending party. Such a person is obliged to immediately comply with the orders of the hotel staff, pay for previous services and pay for any damage and destruction and leave the hotel premises.
  26. The Hotel may refuse to accommodate a Guest who during his previous stay grossly violated the terms, causing damage to hotel property or Guests or damage to the Guests, hotel employees or other persons staying at the hotel, or otherwise disturb the peace of the hotel.
  27. The hotel has outdoor parking monitored 24/7. The hotel has six parking spaces in the parking lot on ul. Świętokrzyska 3 and three on ul. Karasia. The hotel is not responsible for damage to the car and the loss or destruction of items left in it.
  28. The hotel provides services according to its standard. In case of any reservations concerning the quality of services, the Guest is requested to report them immediately at the Reception. Due to the historic nature of the building, there may be deviations from the requirements for equipment and scope of services provided.
  29. The Hotel is obliged to ensure the safety of the stay, including maintaining the secrecy of the Guest's information.
  30. The Hotel has a video surveillance system. Video surveillance is used to improve the safety of hotel guests. Surveillance data is stored and can be made available upon request to the appropriate departments. The Teatro Hotel has 15 cameras - information about their locations is available at the front desk.
